Payment Policies and reservations
All prices are in Canadian dollars and subjects to Canadian taxes (5%). A first non-refundable 30% deposit is required at reservation to confirm your seat and your booking to be effective. The rest of the invoice is due 60 days prior to your departure date for overnight and multi days tours. For day tour only the rest of the payment can be accepted on site on the same day on requested in cash otherwise full payment have to be done via e-transfert of wire transfert at reservation.
Cancellations
For multi-day tours:
Cancellations after booking are subject to a 30% non-refundable deposit. Cancellations between 60 – 30 days prior to start of tour are subject to 75% penalty of total tour cost. Finally, for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the tour, the cost will be 100% non-refundable.
If the tour is cancelled by Yukon Shinevalley Expedition, we guaranteed a full refund.
Change of itinerary can occur at anytime for extreme weather conditions and safety

Travel Insurances and LIability
For multi-days tour, you are highly recommend to have travel insurance which provides cover for medical expenses and emergency repatriation in the event of an accident or illness during your holiday. We may request proof of such insurance. You are also strongly recommended to have insurance in place to provide cover in the event of your cancelling your holiday.
Note for most Europeens travelling to Canada a visa is now required that need a time ahead to obtain. Make sure you have all your papers before leaving.

The best behaved horses can be unpredictable at times and all manner of situations can frighten them. Accidents can happen at any time including within the riding centre or stables. Summer Horse expedition
Your personal gears are all going to be transported by pack horses. A soft waterproof 60/80 liter bag is provided for each guest for your personal luggage and a saddle bag. A limit of 15kg/pers is set. What you’ll need to have with you.
· Sleeping mat
· Sleeping bag (temperature rating between -5 to -10 C)
· Heavy duty waterproof jacket and pants
· Boots (riding or hiking boots comfortable and waterproof)
· Another pair of comfortable shoe or slipper for the camp
· Riding helmet, (mandatory) Hat for the sun
· Warm wool hat
· Light neck warmer (warm one for August and September)
· Warm waterproof riding gloves
· Warm clothes (2x wool sweater or technical fleece or small down jacket)
· Technical thermal underwear (2x top and bottom)
· Riding pants and casual pants
· T shirt
· Sunglasses
· Pocket knife
· Water bottle one in metal can be use as hot water bottle at night
· Thermos
· Swimming suit and a small compact towel
· Personal pharmacy kit, we do carry a complete first aid kit
· Wet ones, biodegradable shampoo and soap, sun cream, lip balm
· Camera and headlamp with extra batteries or external battery

Winter multi-days expeditions
All your personnal luggages are carry in your own sled. You will need a day back pack not too big to keep all your personal items accessible easily in the day on your sled. If you have a good Duffy bag you can bring it, otherwise we do provide a 70 lts dry bag to carry your luggage
Arctic Package is provided including a winter parka, an insulated ski pants, warm overmitts, -40 winter boots, -40 sleeping bag and liner and a basic sleeping pad
· Base layer: It’s your first isolation, technical fibers like Polar Tec, Merino wool, Icebreaker are really efficient to keep your body warm, out of moisture and dry fast. They have to be comfortable and not too tight so blood is free to circulate. (2 top and bottom)
· Second layer: Warm wool sweater, thick fleece, even down sweater or any thin down coat work good (2 for the top and 1 bottom)
· Third layer: A warm coat, like a ski coat or high altitude jacket bring your own for changing layer and for town
· 6 to 10 pairs of warm thick socks, they don’t take so much room but it is so important to keep your feet warm and dry
· 1 pair of warm boots for around the camp or after the dogsledding
· Warm wool hat
· Polar neck warmer or backlava
· 2 pair of under glove in thin merino wool or synthetic
· Slippers for in the cabin
· Ski goggles
· Sunglasses for glacier
· Hand and feet warmer (x20-30) can be purchased in Whitehorse for a reasonable price
