For those who feel like having an adventure and wants to discover some new amazing areas of the Yukon. That is a real introduction in our lifestyle and living on the trail with horses. We will share with you our little paradise out there. 4 days riding in the alpine plateau beyond fish lake to the backcountry of Kusuwa Territorial park. The only access is by horse or by plane, which will bring you back home or to us.

ITINEARY
Day 1 : We meet at the ranch at 10 am and then we'll present you our team of horses. Will make sure you have all you need as luggage and explain different packing techniques, weight the luggages and saddle all the horses ready to hit the trail. After a lunch at the ranch, will have a first 3h30 of riding going up in the alpine plateau where we settle our first camp for the night. At camp we all participate in either building a fire, giving care to the horses, getting water, cooking on open fire, everyone depending their interest.
Day 2 to 4 : We travel trough high plateau and mountains pass, down open valleys and cross river to get to Rose lake located in the backcountry of Kusuwa Territorial Park. A journey of 100km. In the morning, we share a breakfast all together, then we take down camp and pack everything on the horse before exploring the wilderness. At the night a gastronomic meal is cook on the campfire, we give care to the horse and let them graze around the camp. And share some good time around the fire.
Day 5 : Enjoy the peacefulness of Rose lake, go fishing, walk around, do mushroom picking or just relax and admire the view. In afternoon, your float plane operated by Alpine Aviation will be there to take you back to Whitehorse. A flight overlooking the mountain, lake and wildlife of 45 min.
